I am Andrea Geraci. I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Pavia.
Before joining the University of Pavia, I worked as a research economist at the Competence Centre for Microeconomic Evaluation of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre in Ispra, Italy, between 2017 and 2022. Between 2016 and 2017, I worked as Research Officer in the Employment, Equity, and Growth research team at the Institute for New Economic Thinking, University of Oxford. I earned a PhD in Economics at the Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER), University of Essex.
My research focuses on applied microeconometrics, with a specific interest in policy evaluation, public policy, public economics, labour economics, inequality, and social mobility.
